In a notable development within South Korea’s luxury property market, BTS member Jin has reportedly added another upscale residence to his portfolio.
As per a recent report by the Korea Times, the singer is said to have purchased a premium apartment in one of Seoul’s most prestigious residential areas.
Drawing information from Alpha Economy and industry insiders, the report claims Jin acquired a spacious 243.201-square-meter unit in the renowned Hannam The Hill complex, located in the affluent Hannam-dong area of Seoul’s Yongsan District. The transaction, reportedly worth 17.5 billion won (approximately $12.9 million USD), was made entirely in cash.

Hannam The Hill is considered one of the capital’s most sought-after addresses, offering exclusive living in a gated community composed of 32 buildings and roughly 600 residences. The area is known for attracting high-profile individuals from the entertainment and business sectors, with several notable public figures reportedly residing there.
This purchase marks Jin’s third investment in the same luxury complex. His real estate history in Hannam The Hill dates back to 2018, when he initially bought a unit measuring around 614 square feet. He later sold that and acquired a significantly larger residence in 2019, followed by another purchase later that year. The recent acquisition adds to his already impressive property holdings.
Jin’s continued investment in high-end properties reflects a broader trend among prominent South Korean celebrities who are choosing premium real estate as a long-term asset strategy.
